Yoru is the Roman pronunciation of "night" in Japanese.
The first product was named "Yoru", hoping to let people know the characteristics and favorite sound of Starry Audio through the first IEM. Appreciate the meaning of the starry sky at night, so we named the first product "Yoru".
"Yoru" adopts three Balanced Armature Drivers and one 9.2 mm Dynamic Driver made of stainless steel. From the beginning, the goal of sound development is to tune the music suitable for listening to J-POP and ACG. Considering the need for suitable low frequency and speed sense, the 9.2mm stainless steel Dynamic Driver is selected, which can meet the needs of listening to music both dynamically and quickly. Two of the three Balanced Armature Drivers are responsible for low-frequency sound, and the other one is responsible for high frequency, focusing on the emotion and expression of human voice.
The shell is 3D printed and the panel features a starry sky theme. In addition, considering the ear shape of most people, as well as the number and configuration of units, we did not choose a larger housing cavity. A smaller cavity can also make the overall sound more compact, which is suitable for the tuning style that pursues speed.
The stock cable uses Cola from Rolling Force, a 0.78mm 2-pin plug, and uniformly uses 4.4mm terminals. Cola uses Litz 5N oxygen free copper (Litz 5N OFC) woven in 4 twists. Having a Leeds line structure can effectively reduce skin and proximity effects, ensuring a certain level of detail and clarity. Using the sound of 5N OFC gives a warm and enveloping feeling, as well as a very peaceful background.
Yoru pursues a refreshing sense of speed while ensuring accurate expression of sound quality; The performance of vocals is of utmost importance, as placing them in a prominent position allows one to feel the sweetness and cheerfulness of the singer's singing. Paired with Rolling Force's Cola, the sound background is like silence in the dark, while the vocals and instruments shine like stars. Yoru is definitely a product with a distinctive sound personality.
